If you’re looking for no-drill blinds in Berkshire, Wokingham, or surrounding areas, you’ve likely come across Perfect Fit and INTU blinds. Both are smart solutions for uPVC doors and windows, offering a neat, damage-free finish without the need for screws or permanent fixtures.

But while they sound similar at first look, there are key differences between the two systems.

(6th April to 3rd May)

How Do They Work?

Both Perfect Fit and INTU blinds use clever bracket systems that slide behind the rubber seals (gaskets) of uPVC window and door frames. The blinds are then clipped into place, offering a clean, flush fit.

🛠️ No-Drill Installation

✔️ Ideal for tilt-and-turn windows, glazed doors, conservatories and rented homes
✔️ Clips neatly to the frame – no screws, no mess
✔️ Popular in blinds Wokingham, Reading, and Berkshire homes

Perfect Fit Aluminium Venetian Blinds

Perfect Fit Blinds – Stylish Framed Design

Perfect Fit blinds are surrounded by a four-sided frame, offering a tidy and fully integrated look. The blind is held tight within the frame, moving with the window or door when opened.

✨ Benefits:

  • Sleek appearance – looks part of the window
  • Available in 25mm wooden Venetian as well as pleated and aluminium Venetian
  • Reduced swaying and rattling
  • Available Hardware Colours: 🎨 White, Anthracite, Black, Brown, Golden Oak, Mahogany, Silver/Brushed Aluminium

INTU Blinds – Streamlined and Simple

INTU blinds feature a headrail and bottom feet that are held in place by external tensioning cords and stabilising bars. There’s no surrounding frame, giving it a more minimalist profile.

✨ Benefits:

  • Slimline – ideal for narrow or shallow frames
  • No protrusion into the glass area
  • Great for tilt-and-turn windows and smaller panes
  • Available Hardware Colours: 🎨 White, Black, Anthracite, Brown
    (Fewer options than Perfect Fit)

A Note on Perfect Fit and Intu Roller Blinds

Both systems technically offer roller blind options, but we strongly recommend against using them on tall, narrow doors and windows.

⚠️ Why Roller Isn’t Ideal for Full-Length Doors

  • The fabric sits inside side channels
  • Long blinds can sway slightly when the door is opened
  • This causes fraying at the fabric edges as they catch against the channel sides
  • Tension loss is also common on longer drops

Because of this, we don’t offer Perfect Fit or INTU rollers on full-length doors or windows and can’t provide our usual 3 year product guarantee for this configuration.

Intu Micro Blinds

Introducing: INTU Micro – Designed for Bifold Doors

If you’re searching for blinds for bifold doors, INTU Micro is a game-changer.

⚙️ What is INTU Micro?

A specially developed version of the INTU system

Ultra-slim profile designed to stay within the beading of bifold doors

Allows doors to close fully without frame interference

Uses a 16mm pleated blind, slightly smaller than the standard 25mm

Ideal for installations where space is tight between glass and frame

While it’s available in a limited colour range, it performs extremely well and is a go-to for bifold installations in modern homes across Berkshire.
