Smart Blinds are Electric

With a much faster pace of life, making jobs easier and quicker is a sensible choice, and motorising your blinds means adjusting them can be done with the touch of a button. These Smart Blinds can be operated via an remote control, a smart speaker or an app on a mobile phone, giving a wide choice of options.

There are a number of different options available using Li-ion rechargeable batteries or mains powered (via 3-pin plug) motors.

The Li-Ion Batteries can last up to 6 months on a single charge (dependent on usage) and are quick to recharge. This coupled with the lack of trailing wires as on a mains motor, these are quickly becoming the option of choice with our customers.

Electric Roller Blinds

The most popular (and cost effective) type of blind to motorise is a Roller Blind. These easy to use automatic blinds are usually fitted within a neat pelmet and are operated via a simple to use remote control.

All our roller blinds can be motorised, giving a massive choice of fabric designs, colours and textures.

Eve Motion Motors 

Eve Motion Motors can be used in many Electric Roller Blinds and some Roman Blinds too. These clever motors are operated through the Home-kit app on any Apple Mobile device. Simply scan the QR code supplied with every blind to add it to your device.

Automatic Wooden Venetian Blinds

Wooden Venetian Blinds can be motorised, although, due to their weight, these are a little limited on sizes. Powered by rechargeable Somfy Motors, the remote control operates both the tilt and lift.

Electric Aluminium Venetian Blinds.

Using a similar motor to the one for the Wooden Venetians, Electric Aluminium Venetian Blinds can be manufactured in larger sizes due to their lightweight slats.

Electric Roman Blinds

Motorised Roman Blinds are an excellent choice in children’s bedrooms where room a darkening and Child Safety are important. Again using Li-Ion rechargeable motors and simple easy to operate remote controls.

Electric Pleated Blinds

Motorised Pleated Blinds offer another choice, with the popularity of this style of blind increasing, due to its excellent thermal properties, adding in a motor only makes it better!

Electric Blind Home Hubs

Adding a hub to your Electric Blinds opens a whole wealth of additional features and really makes the most of your Smart Blinds. Automate the operation of your blinds using an app on your smart phone. This allows you to open and close them even when you are away from home and set timed activation too. A Home Hub also allows you to connect your blinds to a Smart Speaker, simply speaking your instruction for the blinds to operate.
